Cookie Policy, Vault47

This Cookie Policy explains how Vault47 ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on vault47.cloud and inside the Vault47 web app (the "Service").

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies like localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of them.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary. Required for the Service to function, authentication, session management, security tokens, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be turned off.
Functional. Remember preferences you set (sidebar state, last-used filters, chosen store). Turning these off does not break the Service but may reset your preferences.
Analytics. Aggregated usage data so we can understand which features are used and where errors happen. We do not use analytics cookies to build advertising profiles.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal information.

3. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by service providers that power parts of the Service, for example our cloud host, authentication provider, and payment processor. These are limited to what those providers need to operate securely.

4. Your choices

When you first visit the Service you'll see a cookie banner where you can accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time:

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent parts of the Service from working (you may not be able to sign in).

5. Do Not Track

Because there is no consistent industry standard for how to interpret Do Not Track signals, the Service does not currently respond to them. We honor the choices you make in the cookie banner instead.

6. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
